For families loving simple, fuss-free holidays the Outwell Springwood 6SG is an ideal base. If you’re new to the fun of camping, you’ll find it’s your own basecamp for embracing the great outdoors. Fast and easy to pitch, this fibreglass pole design offers relaxed tent living with plenty of floor space, ample standing height and flexible ventilation. A sewn-in groundsheet means you’ll enjoy a dry, draught-proof tent in bad weather and a bug-free pitch on warmer days. With the large, easy access front door and side windows, you’ll be able to unwind together in an airy, light-filled living area.
This tent is a second hand tent and has been used but remains fully functional for several seasons. Repair of bottom, patch on hole/holes in mainsail, repair of faults in the cabin, peg points, bar dunnage and pole clips, etc. It can be patching of the mosquito net and seams that have been resealed. Easy cleaning of the tent is to be expected. It has been through our service department to rectify the errors so that the tent is fully functional. As always, new or used tent, we always recommend that you test pitch the tent before you go on a trip to get to know it.

In our video and pitching instruction we use 2 pitching measurements in minutes. Below these are descriped into details.
Pitch time – ready to move in: Initial pitch with corner pegs, all poles and necessary guylines in situ to keep the tent standing for furnishing.
Pitch time – complete: Final pitch to ensure design performance with all peg points and guylines pegged out to secure the tent against inclement weather.

Be aware that (UV) ultraviolet rays will damage
your tent if you expose it to direct sunlight for
longer periods of time. Outtex® fabric used on
Outwell® tents increases the lifetime of the tent.
Outwell Product are made for camping use which
is normally 2-5 weeks usage a year. They are not
designed for permanent usage and should only be
used as camping products.
Camping near the sea or lake can further enhance
the effect of UV radiation. The same applies to
poles and metal parts
